While the prices at these cabins are higher than others, there are plenty of perks to make it worth it. Guests have access to free sporting equipment, including mountain bikes, fly-fishing equipment, and even binoculars and telescopes for star-gazing. The resort offers free fly-fishing lessons as well. Lodging ranges from small, cozy cabins to large, luxurious cabins for groups up to 14 people to private honeymoon cottages. Not to be missed is the gourmet restaurant, 373 Grill. The grounds abound with hiking trails and private ponds for fishing, and is only 15 minutes from Sunrise Ski Park.

Antler Ridge Resort Cabins
Cabins at the Antler Ridge Resort range from two to five bedrooms and come equipped with satellite TV and wireless access. The property also has a stocked fishing pond for catch-and-release fishing, and a playground for the little tots. The resort also offers a 3,300 square foot Ridge House, situated (appropriately enough) on the ridge above the resort. This five-bedroom house accommodates up to 16 people and includes a two-car garage and rec room.

Whispering Pines Resort
Situated between Pinetop and Showlow, Whispering Pines Resort offers more than 30 cabins of various sizes (studio to three bedroom) and even has a Victorian house for rent. All cabins are furnished and carpeted, and some have spas and fireplaces. National Forest Service Land adjacent to the property gives plenty of opportunities for hiking and a secluded wilderness experience.

Spring Hill on Rainbow Lake
All cabins at Spring Hill are either on the shores of Rainbow Lake or near it. Property selections vary widely. Three sizes of accommodation are offered at the Barn House, where small traditional cabins sleep two to four people. The Vermont Cottage holds up to 10 people, and the Ranch, a 2,800-square-foot structure, accommodates up to 12 people and is situated on 9 acres. One of the highlights of the Ranch property includes feeding the horses and llamas.
