Peachtree City, Georgia, is a mid-sized, planned community of more than 35,000 residents located about 45 minutes south of Atlanta and near several lakes. The area in and around Peachtree City offers more than 90 miles of recreational paths and two nature centers. The interconnected path system is the largest in the United States, according to the Peachtree City Tourism Association. The paths link the city's residential, retail and commercial areas, and are open to runners, walkers and golf carts.

This Holiday Inn claims to be Peachtree City's only pet-friendly hotel. Its well-manicured and inviting property is just minutes from Interstate 85 and downtown Peachtree City. Guests can choose from bright and stylish guest and executive-club-level rooms, as well as suites. Amenities include satellite television, high-speed wireless Internet (for a fee) and sofa bed. Suites come with a work space and living room area, while some feature a full-size refrigerator and stove-top range. This Wyndham sits on 18 wooded acres adjacent to the 27-hole Flat Creek Golf Club, where guests have special access. Private tennis, racquetball and volleyball courts are on site, along with a fully stocked fitness center, steam room and sauna. Massage services are also offered. There is an indoor and outdoor pool that is surrounded by four fire pits. A Wii video-game console, bar and fireplace are located in the lounge. Spacious and bright guest rooms include amenities such as ergonomic desk chair, balcony, granite counter tops and bathrobe. The on-site Terrace Restaurant serves a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also features a buffet. Jogging tracks and nature trails surround the hotel's property.
