Washington has snow-capped mountains, resident orca pods, a rainforest and the odd vampire and werewolf. There are endless opportunities for mini-vacations, from wild places to wild adventures. See bald eagles or sit by a fire gazing off into the Cascades. Try a wine-tasting or stroll through a quaint seaport. For a weekend or a week, you can find something novel and relaxing to do in Washington.

The Hotel Vintage Park, Seattle, Plus the Ultimate Twilight Adventure

From the nightly wine reception in the hotel lobby to the luxury king penthouse suite with a dual-sided fireplace, four-poster canopy pillow-top bed, two-person jetted tub, complete entertainment system and fully stocked private bar, the Hotel Vintage Park offers one of Seattle's most romantic weekends. For over-the-top getaway romance, add the Ultimate Twilight Adventure, a day-long tour of Forks, with stops in the Hoh Rainforest, La Push, the town of Forks, a guided naturalist tour, tea and lunch. The movie will play in your bio-diesel Mercedes tour van and you'll have dinner where Bella and Edward had their first date, Bella Italia in Port Angeles. The hotel will arrange to have you picked up and dropped off at the door and will book the tour for you. Evergreen Escapes runs the tours, which include meals, guides and all transportation included.
