The 12 grassy, partial hookups include water and electricity and are appropriate for RV or tent camping, according to the Chinook RV Park website. Throughout the park guests can enjoy bird watching--osprey, bald eagles, great blue herons, Canadian geese and kingfishers are commonly found throughout the park. Guests also spot elk, deer and harbor seals on a regular basis. The RV park is located close to the ocean and Waldport's boat rentals and entrance slips, making it an ideal location for fishermen. Chinook also offers necessary amenities like hot showers and laundry facilities. The park is pet friendly and features an off-leash area for well behaved dogs.
