Boise is the capital city of Idaho and is located in the Northwestern part of the United States and the Southeastern part of the state. Visitors will find the Boise Art Museum and the Basque Museum and Cultural Center. The Morrison-Knudsen Nature Center is located east of downtown Boise and offers waterfalls, wildlife exhibits and bird and butterfly gardens. P.F. Chang's is a Chinese restaurant chain that was founded in 1993 in Scottsdale, Arizona. There are currently close to 150 P.F. Chang locations around the world. Menu items include chicken-lettuce wraps, crab won-tons, spare-ribs and egg rolls. The restaurant also offers gluten-free, vegetarian and children's meals. Happy hour is daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. P.F. Chang's is located a mile from the MK Nature Center, which offers day hikes, backpacking and camping.

The Golden Star Restaurant opened its doors in Boise in 1965. The restaurant's dining rooms can accommodate parties of 50 for events. The restaurant also offers catering for up to 150 people. Menu items include chow mein, moo goo gai pan, mandarin chicken, fried rice and crab rangoon. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and reservations are recommended but not required. The Great Wall Chinese restaurant is a chain restaurant that offers a daily buffet for lunch and dinner. The buffet offers all you can eat items, such as crab legs, rice, shrimp, stir fry, steak, sweet and sour pork, barbecue and seafood dishes. The restaurant is kid-friendly and offers a senior citizen discount. Diners will also find a wide variety of desserts to satisfy their sweet tooth. The Great Wall is five miles from hiking at the Flaming Rock Trail in Idaho's City of Rocks National Reserve.
