Brandon is a suburb located 10 miles from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It's a great location for visitors who want some outdoor adventure. Skiing, sightseeing and water sports are among the activities an outdoor enthusiast can enjoy in and around Brandon. Local attractions include the Big Sioux River, Great Bear Ski Valley, Catfish Bay Water Ski Park and the Great Plains Zoo. There are a number of hotel options in the area.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sioux Falls-Brandon

This hotel is located in Brandon near the scenic Falls Park, the Great Plains Zoo, Palisades State Park and Great Bear Ski Valley. Stating it's the only hotel in Sioux Falls with an indoor water park, the Holiday Inn also has a fitness center and features a complimentary buffet breakfast daily. Standard room amenities include movies, microwave and coffee maker. Tailgators, a sports bar and family dining restaurant, is located next door to the hotel and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Comfort Inn

Comfort Inn is the only other hotel in Brandon's city limits. It is close to Huset's Speedway, Catfish Bay Water Ski Park and Palisades State Park. The hotel features free wireless high-speed Internet access, free continental breakfast, free milk and cookies in the evening, an indoor heated pool and hot tub, an exercise room and a business center, according to its website. Standard room amenities include cable TV and free Internet access.

Country Inn & Suites Sioux Falls

The County Inn & Suites is located in downtown Sioux Falls, the closest city to Brandon. It is near Big Sioux River, the Great Plains Zoo and Falls State Park. The park is only a half-mile away and has biking and hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls. The hotel features a free buffet breakfast every morning. Falls Landing is a convenient on-site restaurant that offers the only riverfront dining on the Big Sioux River, according to the Country Inn website. Guests can choose from the following three accommodations: standard rooms, whirlpool suites and family suites.

Sheraton Sioux Falls & Convention Center

If you stay at this smoke-free Sheraton hotel, make sure to see their botanical atrium and two indoor waterfalls made to replicate those in Falls Park. The hotel is located in Sioux Falls, close to everything the city has to offer. The hotel has an indoor heated pool and sauna, business center, gift shop and babysitting services. All rooms include standard amenities and high-speed wireless Internet access for $10 a day. If you are part of the Sheraton Club, you have access to the Club Lounge and upgraded in-room amenities. The Falling Waters Grille and the Water's Edge Lounge are also located in the hotel.
