When people think pizza, they usually think New York or Chicago. But surprisingly Farmington, Connecticut has a lot to offer in the way of pizza. Whether diners seek a New Haven-style pie or the kind made famous in Naples, Italy, they can find it in Farmington. The topping options are as unique as the crust styles and take advantage of east coast seafood. There are several pizzas that offer lobster, shrimp and clam toppings.

Naples Pizza

Naples Pizza opened its doors in 1995. It began as a family owned takeout store and grew into the full scale restaurant it is today. Naples specializes in Neapolitan pizza which is a thinner crust and cooked based on traditional Naples, Italy standards. The restaurant also serves calzones, Paninis and grinders. For the health conscious, Naples offers wheat pasta. It also has a gluten-free pizza option. In addition to serving wine and beer, the restaurant also serves Foxon Park Soda from nearby East Haven, Connecticut.

Joey Garlic's specializes in New Haven brick-style pizza. This type of pizza requires a longer cooking time which allows the flavors to caramelize and bring out the natural flavors.
