Spearfish is a South Dakota town situated in the Black Hills Region. Located there is Spearfish Canyon, which features hiking trails, fishing areas, bicycling paths and winter sports areas. There are several other walking and hiking trails in the area, such as the Spearfish Creek trail. This town is about one hour from the Mount Rushmore National Monument. There are numerous hotels in Spearfish where you can enjoy a quiet evening enjoying the scenic beauty of the Black Hills.

It is also 15 miles from Deadwood, where guests can try their luck at the Celebrity Casino. All rooms at this hotel are smoke-free. The Travelodge of Spearfish is situated less than 15 minutes from Spearfish Canyon, where visitors can enjoy rugged trails and scenic views. The Spearfish Creek walking trail runs behind the property. There are also several restaurants within walking distance of this hotel, including Sanford's Pub and Grub, Roma's Ristorante and Shoot the Bull Steakhouse. All rooms at the Travelodge of Spearfish include balconies or patios, as well as refrigerators and microwaves. This hotel also has an Internet lounge, a heated indoor pool and a whirlpool. Pets are allowed in certain rooms for a nightly surcharge of $10.
