Though it may be the second smallest state in the Union after Rhode Island, Delaware is a state rich in history and natural beauty. Bethany Beach and the Brandywine Valley are popular vacation destinations where visitors can enjoy tons of outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, fishing and water sports. Sunday brunch is another popular activity in Delaware, and you'll find plenty of cafes and restaurants throughout the state that offer it. Whether you're in the mood for a stack of buttermilk pancakes or a savory chicken sandwich, Delaware offers plenty of options for Sunday brunch.

The Back Porch Café

This laid back café in the beach town of Rehoboth Beach offers a full brunch menu on Sundays. The Black Porch Café prepares classic brunch recipes with an interesting, gourmet twist. The apple pear pancake with cinnamon syrup and mascarpone cheese, gruyere cheese omelet with potato bacon and leak, and pan-seared diver scallops are all popular choices. There are also a number of salads on deck including the French country salad with poached eggs, smoked bacon, field greens and red beets. If you just need a little snack in the morning, order a coffee or juice with a fresh baked scone or fruit and cheese plate.
