Marineland Hotels in Ontario

Marineland is a theme park with an aquatic theme located near Niagara Falls in the Canadian province of Ontario. Besides traditional thrill and family rides, the park offers a host of animal attractions, including dolphins, orca whales and sea lions. Visitors to Marineland can take a boat tour of nearby Niagara Falls or play a round of golf at the Oaklands Golf Course directly adjacent to the park. Several area hotels cater to Marineland guests.

Niagara Falls Motor Lodge

Located just east of Marineland and near the Niagara River Parkway, the Niagara Falls Motor Lodge is a traditional, two-story roadside hotel that offers an economical place to stay. The hotel is comprised of 20 guest rooms, including standard single and double rooms with bright, contemporary decor. There is also a suite, which features three bedrooms along with a large sitting area and a full kitchen. All of the rooms at the Niagara Falls Motor Lodge feature cable TVs, refrigerators, coffee makers and microwaves. There is also an outdoor pool that is open during warm weather.

Surfside Inn

The Surfside Inn has a waterfront location along the Niagara River less than half a mile from Marineland. The hotel is along the Niagara River Recreation Trail, where guests can enjoy hiking, bicycling and rollerblading with views of the river and park lands. Guests can choose from single and double rooms with traditional decor, or a suite with a kitchenette or jacuzzi. Room rates are significantly lower in the off-season (September through June) and all include a complimentary daily breakfast.

Sheraton Fallsview Hotel

About a mile north of Marineland, the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel is a large, modern hotel in the heart of Niagara Falls, Ontario. The 32-story hotel has more than 400 rooms, including many with views of the falls themselves. Besides single and double rooms with contemporary decor, the hotel also has presidential and whirlpool suites with deluxe amenities like fireplaces and flat-screen televisions. Guests can enjoy the hotel's indoor heated pool, fitness center and sauna. On-site dining options include a Starbucks coffee shop and Stanley's Pub and Grill, which serves light meas and drinks in a casual lounge atmosphere.
