Located on the western part of Cape Cod, Falmouth is in close proximity to both the mainland and Martha's Vineyard island. Falmouth boasts 28 miles of coastline, 387 acres of trails in Beebe Woods, 10 miles of bike trails and ample opportunities for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. The majority of the city's hotels are located in the city center, although there are some properties on the waterfront.

Renovated in 2006, Falmouth's Holiday Inn has 98 rooms and suites. All rooms feature cable and satellite TV, and executive-level rooms have a microwave and a fridge. The hotel is just one mile from the Falmouth bike path and three miles from the Martha's Vineyard ferry. On-site recreation opportunities include a fitness center and an indoor heated pool. Kids under 12 eat free at the on-site Kansas City Steakhouse. Nearby you'll find the British Beer Company and Pub as well as several local eateries. Pets are not allowed at this property. There is one room that meets accessibility standards.

From the Falmouth Inn, ferries to Martha's Vineyard are just two blocks away. You can easily walk to the ferry docks and leave your car behind at the hotel. The 123 guest rooms feature contemporary decor, cable TV and free HBO. On site you'll find a game room, outdoor courtyard and indoor pool with retractable roof. Breakfast is complimentary and served in the hotel's restaurant cum karaoke bar. Some rooms are pet friendly; all rooms are nonsmoking. The hotel can arrange day trips for sports fishing or excursions on the Liberte, the hotel's clipper ship.

Shoreway Acres Resort Inn‎

The Shoreway Acres Resort Inn offers bed-and-breakfast-style lodging and contemporary motor inn accommodations. The resort has 80 rooms, some of which are located in the resort's 18th-century sea captain's house. Breakfast is included, and many package deals for golf, romance or family getaways are available. On site you'll find an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and separate men's and women's saunas. Parlor rooms have a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms are nonsmoking, and pets are not allowed, although there is a kennel nearby. From the hotel, you can walk to the beach, a duck pond, a bird sanctuary, a trolley station and more than 10 local restaurants.
