Harefield Cottage

Harefield Cottage is a small country hotel on the north coast of Cornwall between the small town of Bude and Widemouth Bay. North Cornwall boasts such sights as Bude Canal Wharf, Hartland Peninsula, Bodmin Moor, the Clovelly fishing village and Boscastle Harbour. As for the hotel itself, five lovely en suite rooms, some with views of the sea, are available for booking. Double rooms are available with either a double bed or king bed that can be separated into two twin beds. Extra beds can be added to accommodate families. Each room comes with a hair dryer, TV and welcome tray. Breakfast will prepare you for a long day seeing the coast or at the beach.

Crantock Bay Hotel

Crantock Bay Hotel is child-friendly country hotel located on National Trust land in South Cornwall. The hotel is just minutes away from Crantock Beach, which the London Telegraph travel supplement has called the best beach in the U.K. Within an hour's car journey are Cornish sites like the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Land's End and Tate St. Ives gallery. Crantock Bay Hotel has served guests for more than 50 years and has 31 en suite rooms, most with a view of the sea. Amenities include toiletries, telephone, TV, radio/alarm, hair dryer and hospitality tray. Apart from major school holidays, children under age 12 stay free. Dogs are welcome to stay and roam the gardens.

Pendragon Country House

Pendragon is a charming place for those wishing to stay in West Cornwall near the small town of Davidstow, which hosted an RAF air base during World War II. En suite rooms come with handmade toiletries, TV and DVD player, access to goose down duvets, tea- and coffee-making facilities, access to a fridge stocked with milk, hair dryer and an iron and board. You can start your active day sightseeing with a hot English breakfast overlooking the sea and reserve an evening meal served with wine.
