Greensboro, North Carolina, is part of the Piedmont Triad, a metropolitan area consisting of three cities: Greensboro, Salem-Winston and Highpoint. Local attractions, especially for nature enthusiasts, include the Bog Garden, with trails through a garden of plants and wildlife that exist in a wetland ecosystem. Bicentennial Garden was built in 1976 to commemorate the U.S. bicentennial. The garden also has trails, along with outdoor sculptures and a pavilion to relax in. There are several resorts in the area that make visiting Greensboro relaxing and convenient.

The Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons offers 990 rooms in the heart of Greensboro. Adjacent to the Four Seasons Town Centre, it is convenient for shopping and dining. Rooms have free Internet, wet bar and minifridge. In addition, guest rooms also offer a whirlpool bathtub for winding down at the end of the day. This resort offers 281 rooms and seven suites and has the added benefit of a smoke-free environment for health conscious visitors. Chakras, the spa located in the hotel, offers body scrubs, body wraps, facials and massages for the full resort treatment.
