The Barking Crab
With its prime location near the Boston Children's Museum and above the Fort Point channel that separates North and South Boston, The Barking Crab offers a casual, fun atmosphere with Kodak-worthy views of the water. Both locals and tourists flock to this famous clam shack, especially during the summer when the smell of fresh seafood along the piers is unmistakable. Start with a delicious cup of New England clam chowder, fried oysters with red pepper aioli or Old Bay crawfish drizzled with lemon juice. The Barking Crab also offers up to 3 pounds of fresh lobster, cedar plank-grilled salmon and pan-seared mahi mahi. Local bands perform live music several nights a week.

One of Legal Sea Food's longest running branches is located across the docks from the New England Aquarium and offers great views of the harbor and major fishing piers.
