Anna Maria Island is off the coast near Tampa Bay, Florida. The area has several opportunities for saltwater fishing, and there are many charter operations to take you out for redfish, tarpon and snook. If you are from out of state, you will need a valid Florida fishing license. Purchase a license at a sporting goods store in the state, or online through the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife.
