Columbia is small southern town that is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts because of the number of parks and lakes in the area. Visitors can boat, swim, fish and picnic in and around Lake Columbia and Lake Bill Waller. The Pearl River is also a great place to relax and enjoy. Columbia is located about thirty miles from Hattiesburg, the closest major city.
