Redmond, located east of Seattle, is the "Bicycle Capital of the Northwest," according to the city's website. Marymoor Park features a Velodrome for bicycle racing and 640 acres of athletic fields, a climbing wall, an off-leash area and several trails. With five locations in the Seattle area, Thai Ginger is a local favorite with an extensive menu of lunch and dinner offerings. The lunch menu includes 26 dishes, with six vegetarian specials such as spicy eggplant and vegetable curry. For dinner, try one of the five barbecue entrees such as Tiger Tearless made with New York steak or Gai Yahng with a marinated half-chicken. House specialties include Phad Pak, Phad Bai Kaplau and Swimming Rama featuring stir-fried spinach topped with homemade peanut sauce. Other dinner options include noodles, curries, soups, salads and seafood entrees. Thai Ginger is located at Redmond Town Center near Marymoor Park.

Thai Angel offers complimentary wireless Internet access as a nod to local Microsoft workers who lunch at the restaurant and is located on a main thoroughfare of Redmond. Free delivery is available within a 3-mile radius of Thai Angel, and takeout orders are welcome. Lunch features a single-priced combination special with many variations possible including curries and chicken dishes. Dinner fare at Thai Angel includes starters, salads, noodles, curries, rice dishes and signature dishes such as Garlic Favorite and Broccoli and Oyster Sauce. Silver Spoon is named for a Thai belief in silver as a symbol of prosperity and well-being, a concept the owners apply to their food and atmosphere, according to the restaurant's website. Live piano music entertains diners nightly at the Silver Spoon during dinner service and adds to the relaxed ambiance. Appetizers at the Silver Spoon include crab delight and spring rolls; Tom Yum or Tom Kah are soups also available to start a meal. Noodle dishes include traditional favorites such as Phad Thai and Rama Noodles and entrees include a choice of chicken, beef, pork or tofu. Eight styles of curry and seven types of fried rice dishes are also featured on the menu. Chef's special dishes at the Silver Spoon are lemon grass chicken, garlic beef or pork ribs, halibut and a seafood medley. Silver Spoon Thai is located in a residential area of Redmond near The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge.
