Polly's Pancake Parlor
Originally built in 1830 as a carriage shed and later converted to a tea room, Polly and Sugar Bill Dexter began serving breakfast fare in 1938 to promote their maple products, according to the restaurant's website. Today, family members continue the tradition serving homemade pancakes and waffles in several varieties, served with a tray of pure maple syrup, pure maple spread and maple sugar. Other offerings at Polly's include eggs any style, French toast, homemade breads and muffins, granola and local ham and bacon. All-you-can-eat pancakes, waffles or French toast are available for diners with a big appetite and lunch items are also served all day.
