Aarons Hotel

The Aarons Hotel, in central Sydney, is a renovated 19th century building with a family room that has 1 double bed and 2-4 singles from AU$175.00 per night. (Extra charge for more than 2 single beds in the room.) Also included are bathroom, fridge, phone, color TV, coffeemaker and air conditioning.

The hotel has a tour desk for planning excursions. Close by are Chinatown, Paddy's Market, Darling Harbor and transportation to everywhere, including the beach.

Maze Backpackers Hostel

A hostel provides a different experience from a hotel, but may be suitable for slightly older kids who can handle the lively international community that a hostel attracts.

Hostel rates are generally the lowest you will find and the bathrooms are almost always a shared affair. Maze Backpackers Hostel in Sydney has dorm space as well as private rooms that accommodate three.
