Western North Carolina, peaceful and unspoiled, is home to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The many cabins in the area offer an affordable alternative to motels. Recreational activities abound, including hiking, cycling, fishing, tubing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and more. Take in the scenery with a cruise down the Blue Ridge Parkway, or go back to another time with a visit to the Vanderbilt's Biltmore estate.

Rock Creek Cabins

Rock Creek Cabins are less than a mile from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. All cabins have heat and air-conditioning, satellite TV, and fully equipped kitchens. Cabins range from one to four bedrooms. The area has hiking and biking trails, along with trout streams for fishing.

Mountain Shops has more than 60 cabins for rent throughout western North Carolina, from one to four bedrooms. The one- and two-bedroom cabins generally have satellite TV, fireplaces, and beautiful views. Most have fully-equipped kitchens, and some have hot tubs. Cabins are within an hour's drive to attractions such as Biltmore House, and are close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Mountain Brook

Open year-round, Mountain Brook's affordable cabins have fireplaces, and wood is provided for all seasons. All cabins have fully-equipped kitchens, with towels provided in bathrooms and linens in the bedrooms. The cabins are just a few miles from Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and activities such as whitewater rafting, tubing, and fishing.
