Barcomi's
Barcomi's is something of a Berlin institution, having received rave reviews not only from local magazines "Tip and "Zitty, but also prestigious international outlets, such as "The New York Times." It imports coffee from all over the world, and has a particularly impressive list of coffees from Latin America and Africa. Throughout the day, guests can get breakfast dishes like fresh bagels with cream cheese, Mediterranean inspired breakfasts and a variety of morning dishes for vegetarians.

Weltrestaurant Markthalle
The Weltrestaurant Markthalle is situated in Berlin's Kreuzberg district, not far from Goerlitzer Park, with its numerous hiking and biking trails. Breakfast is served each day between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Hallen Breakfast comes with ham, salami, cheese, butter, marmalade, fruit, bread and pastries; it comes in two sizes, small and large. There is also a cheese breakfast, with a variety of cheeses, butter and bread. The French breakfast comes with croissants, butter and marmalade. For those with more exotic tastes, the Mediterranean breakfast comes with cheese, Parmesan, mozzarella, tomatoes, ham, Italian salami, vegetables, butter and marmalade, along with bread.

Schwarzes Café
Schwarzes Café is situated in the upscale Charlottenburg neighborhood, and is one of the few places in Berlin where guests can get breakfast 24 hours a day. Scrambled eggs, omelets, croissants, farmer's breakfasts, cheese breakfasts, ham breakfasts, avocado breakfasts and salmon breakfasts are all options here. There are a number of options for vegetarians, as well.

Café Matilda
This small, two room café has a friendly neighborhood vibe to it, with a constant soundtrack of 1960s soul music and classic rock n' roll being played in the background, and serves breakfast every day until 3 p.m. The breakfasts are all traditional German fare, with a variety of sandwich meats, cheeses, eggs, fruit, breads and croissants.
