Crêperie du Château
Crêperie du Château is in Uptown on McKinney Avenue, on the ground level of the Château Plaza office building. This restaurant brings a whole new concept to crêpes with its special wheat recipe made with organic wheat flour. Specialties include scrambled eggs & cheese crêpes and the crêpe provencale, which is made with scrambled eggs, potatoes, Swiss cheese, ham, tomatoes, caramelized onions and basil sauce. The menu also includes buttermilk, chocolate and French toast pancakes, and strawberry, Belgian and chocolate-chip waffles. Crêperie du Château also offers a brunch menu. Free parking is available in the Château Plaza garage on the first and second floors next door to the restaurant.

Lucky's Cafe
Lucky's Café is a kid-friendly restaurant which advertises "perfect pancakes and awesome omelets." The retro-themed decor is simple, with red vinyl booths, movie memorabilia and vintage-inspired tables and chairs. The staff serves guests on a first-come, first-served basis. The café's Three Amigos Omelet is made with corn chips, onions, tomatoes and serrano with salsa, topped with Monterey jack cheese. The Eats omelet has ham, sausage, bacon, bell pepper, mushrooms, black olives, onions, Monterey jack and cheddar cheeses, corn chips, onions, serrano and tomatoes, topped with Monterey jack and salsa, and comes with country potatoes or refried beans and flour tortillas. Another specialty is the breakfast extravaganza known as the Truck Driver's Delight, which features hearty portions of chicken-fried steak or chicken, and two eggs served with biscuits or toast and a choice of country potatoes, sliced tomatoes, oatmeal or grits. Lucky's Café also offers a brunch menu.
