Hudson is located on the St. Croix River in west-central Wisconsin. There are several city parks to enjoy, such as Lakefront Park, which has a boat launch, beach and paved trails. Just five miles north of town is Willow River State Park, which includes Little Falls Lake, a 400-foot beach and a boat launch. The park is ideal for fishing, canoeing and hiking in summer, and dog sledding and cross-country skiing in winter. Visitors to the area will find several hotel options when staying in Hudson.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott Hudson

The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Hudson offers complimentary breakfast, an indoor pool and a whirlpool. There are 63 spacious rooms which include standard amenities such as cable TV, Internet access and spring-air mattresses. Pets are not allowed at this hotel. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are several less than a mile away, including the Green Mill, Perkin's Family Restaurant and Buffalo Wild Wings. Area attractions include Birkmose Park, which overlooks the St. Croix River and the St. Croix River Valley.

Quality Inn Hudson

The Quality Inn Hudson is on Dominion Drive, near the Wisconsin border. The hotel offers standard amenities such as complimentary breakfast, an indoor heated pool and a guest laundry. Room amenities include cable TV, a refrigerator and free local calls. Dogs up to 25 pounds are welcome for an additional per pet, per night fee. Quality Inn Hudson does not have a restaurant but is conveniently located near several dining options, including Plaza 94, Dibbo's and Applebee's. If visiting Hudson in winter be sure to check out Burton Field which has an ice rink for skating and hockey.

The Best Western Hudson House Inn offers guests a comfortable stay in one of its 100 guest rooms. Guests can relax in the hotel's indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool or get in a workout in the exercise facility. Each room includes satellite television and high-speed Internet access. Breakfast is complimentary on weekdays at the Crest View Café, the hotel's on-site restaurant. Also on-site is a beauty shop, Buckster's sports bar and the St. Croix Off Broadway Dinner Theater. Guests can purchase tickets to see a show at the theater or tickets for dinner and a show. Kinnickinnic State Park is 13 miles away in neighboring River Falls, and is great for boating, swimming, bird watching and hiking.
