Summer Recreation Programs in Dayton, New Jersey
Dayton is one of the districts that make up South Brunswick in central New Jersey. The district was named for William Dayton, a United States senator. Today, Dayton is a vibrant community offering many services to its residents. Summer recreational programs for Dayton residents are run through the township of South Brunswick and also in cooperation with local organizations.

South Brunswick Township Department of Parks and Recreation

South Brunswick Township offers Dayton residents a summer camp program that includes Summer Parks and Kinder Parks programs. These programs are run through the South Brunswick Community Center. Parents are invited to register their children for one two-week session beginning at the end of June and running through the beginning of August. A Special Needs five-day camp program runs to the middle of August. Before and after camp care is available for working parents.

Both indoor and outdoor activities are offered, including games, sports, physical activities, arts and crafts, theme days and events. Classes are limited to approximately eight children per counselor, and children are grouped by age. Staffers include teachers and college students who plan creative programs that are exciting for campers. Those campers who would benefit from smaller groups or one-on-one instruction may attend Camp Willow.
