Driggs, Idaho rests on the banks of the Teton River, which provides opportunities for fishing and boating excursions. The town is also less than 20 miles from Jackson Hole Mountain ski resort. This recreational site offers chances for skiing and snowmobile riding. Nearby Targhee National Forest has hiking paths such as the 35-mile Teton Crest and the 18-mile Paintbrush Canyon Trail. In between your recreational activities, dine at one of the restaurants in Driggs.

Forage Bistro and Lounge

Situated on Little Avenue, Forage Bistro and Lounge is an ideal place to unwind and have drinks with friends after canoeing on the nearby Snake River, which is approximately 20 minutes east of Driggs. This vibrant, bar-style dining establishment has contemporary decorations and seasonal outdoor patio seating. Forage Bistro and Lounge is only open for dinner on Tuesdays through Sundays. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. The menu at Forage Bistro and Lounge features entrees such as grilled lamb chops and braised beef tenderloin. The restaurant also serves red and white wines. Forage Bistro and Lounge has a "Happy Hour" special from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and provides live music entertainment.

Milk Creek Grill

The Milk Creek Grill is situated on Driggs' Main Street and is an ideal place to stop after hiking at Rainey Creek, a trail that is approximately 10 miles south of Driggs. This casual dining establishment has a laid-back vibe with rustic décor and memorabilia spread throughout the restaurant. Milk Creek Grill is open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week. The menu at Milk Creek Grill features breakfast selections such as the breakfast burrito and huevos rancheros, as well as lunch platters that include western philly-style cheesesteak sandwiches and the Milk Creek turkey club sandwich. Milk Creek Grill also serves beer and has take-out service.

Pendl's Bakery & Cafe

Located on Depot Street, Pendl's Bakery & Cafe is a good place to eat breakfast before setting off on the Victor-Driggs Paved Trail, a 14-mile cycling path that runs through town. This casual cafe-style restaurant has an Austrian theme. The exterior décor has the appearance of a country house, while the interior décor resembles the cafes you would see in Vienna or Salzburg. Pendl's Bakery & Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch. The menu features Eastern European pastries such as zigeuner, which is a walnut and cinnamon macaroon, and linzetorte, which is an Austrian raspberry pie. Pendl's also has a fire-pit on its grounds so you can stay warm if you decide to eat outside.
