Ski Lodges in Pennsylvania

Skiing isn't only restricted to the giant mountains in Colorado, Utah, and California. On the contrary, the mountains on the east coast offer the opportunity for skiing as well--including those in Pennsylvania. One of the most visited mountain ranges in Pennsylvania is the Pocono Mountains. Skiers will find a multitude of ski resorts in Pennsylvania, most of which are at the base of the Pocono Mountains.

Bear Creek Mountain Resort

Bear Creek Mountain Resort is both a ski lodge and a conference center. Visitors to BC Resort will find nearby access to trails at BC Mountain. The resort itself offers a variety of amenities including a pool, hot tub, fitness center, tennis, and a golf course just outside the resort's limits. In addition, both hiking and biking trails crisscross the 330-acre property. Skiers will enjoy discounted lift tickets and package deals for lodging and skiing.

Hidden Valley Resort

Hidden Valley Resort is also nestled in the Pocono Mountains. This resort offers easy access to a variety of trails ranging from very easy (blue circle) to extremely difficult (double black diamond). Visitors have a choice between a suite--complete with a full kitchen and living room--and a normal room at the resort. After skiing, visitors can take a dip in the pool or hot tub, or enjoy the volleyball court.

Liberty Mountain Resort

Liberty Mountain Resort is located directly at the bottom of Liberty Mountain. Skiers can literally ski up to the the door of the resort. The mountain itself has over 30 trails, all ranging in difficulty level. Discounted passes, lessons, and rentals are all available. The resort itself offers luxury rooms--some of which have a kitchenette, a living room, and a whirlpool tub. Visitors can take advantage of the pool and hot tub as well as the hiking trails near the resort.
