Atlantic Camping Tours
Atlantic Camping Tours offers tours of the Mid-Atlantic region and the Adirondacks. Kayaks, gear and camping equipment are included in the rate. Core techniques and a knowledge of kayak equipment are prerequisites of the tour. Tour highlights include exploring the Mother Bunch Islands, Black Mountain Point and Paradise Bay.

You also can tour Lake George on your own. The Lake George Kayak Co. rents kayaks. Areas where you can launch a canoe or kayak include Huddle Bay and Northwest Bay. Huddle Bay, off Highway 9N, has beach access; there are also numerous small inlets and coves to explore. Northwest Bay also can be accessed from 9N. There are several places next to the road suitable for putting in. The Lake George Kayak Co. provides suggestions and tips on areas to paddle. It also sells maps of the area.
