Situated just outside the busy metropolis of Atlanta, Alpharetta is a small town with a big city mentality. It is part of Fulton County, and there are a number of recreational opportunities available in and around the region. Check out the Alpharetta Big Creek Greenway, which spans just over six miles, to hike, bike, skate and jog. The Wills Park Equestrian Center provides a chance to go horseback riding over 50 acres and visitors can peruse the natural beauty of the Alpharetta Arboretum.
