Azur is a region of Queenstown on the South Island of New Zealand. It is one of the peak adventure destinations in the world for outdoor enthusiasts. The pine forests and alpine countryside are ideal for winter sports such as alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and heli-skiing; the best snow is in July and August. Warm weather activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rafting, bungee jumping, swimming and boating on magnificent Lake Wakatipu.

Azur Lodge

Each of the 9 villas that comprise Azur Lodge has a living area with a gas fireplace, underfloor heating and a private deck for soaking up the spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range. The bedrooms have king size beds, aromatherapy centers, Wi-Fi and iPod docks. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with rainforest-themed showers, complimentary Linden Leaves toiletries, twin granite sinks and double spa baths set beside vast picture windows.

Ski and luggage storage, in-room dining, massage and all the amenities you would expect from a luxury five-star resort are available at the Azur Lodge. The main ski areas are 25 to 45 minutes away by car or accessible by helicopter from the lodge. Room rates include additional amenities such as free airport transfers from Queenstown, complimentary meals and drinks.
