Kill Devil Hills is a small beach resort in the northern section of the popular Outer Banks shoreline of North Carolina. The area offers an array of natural and historical attractions, including the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Jockey's Ridge State Park, the East coast's largest natural living sand dune. The area also features a diverse restaurant and nightlife scene, as well as places for shopping.

Travelodge Nags Head Beach Hotel

The Nags Head Beach Hotel is located at mile post 8 in Kill Devil Hills. It is within walking distance of several restaurants and the beach itself is just steps away. All double and king rooms have basic furnishings, some with living area, and all have a private ocean view or poolside balcony. In-room amenities include cable television, microwave and refrigerator, and a deluxe continental breakfast is included with every stay. A heated outdoor pool and sundeck are on-site, and there is an ocean-side cabana. The hotel allows pets.

The Sea Ranch Hotel

The Sea Ranch Hotel is situated on the beach with an oceanfront restaurant and deck. Golf courses, the Wright Brothers Memorial and several area marinas are within close driving distance. The hotel features recently renovated single- and multi-occupancy rooms that come with amenities such as cable television, desk and lounging area. All rooms include a microwave and refrigerator, and provide either an ocean front or street side view. There is an indoor pool on-site and the hotel provides wireless Internet service. The hotel is a participant in the Y-Home Program, which gives guests access to the local YMCA facility.

Ramada Plaza Nags Head Beach

This large, 171-room Ramada is another beach-situated hotel. Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided but guests also can enjoy the ocean view from the hotel deck. The hotel's oceanfront restaurant, Peppercorns, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and provides live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. A heated, indoor pool and Jacuzzi are on-site, as well as a fitness center. Rooms are decorated with beach-style furniture and include amenities such as free wireless Internet, flat-screen television and in-room air conditioning. Every room features a private balcony that provides views of the beach road, dunes or the ocean. Other hotel services include complimentary guest laundry and guest passes to the local YMCA.
