Spot Tail Fishing
Spot Tail Fishing takes anglers onto Puget Sound from Shilshole Harbor in downtown Seattle. Spot Tails specializes in "mooching" for salmon versus the traditional drop-line trolling. "Mooching" for salmon entails working the bait instead of letting it drop and then reeling as fast as you can. Spot Tail also offers saltwater fly fishing for salmon. The fly-fishing trips are recommended to those who have prior fly-fishing experience. All gear and tackle is provided by Spot Tail. Use of foul-weather gear can be arranged. Fillet, bagging and shipping can be arranged through the charter service. Watch for marine mammals and sea-birds during the charter.
