Glacier National Park, the nation's 10th national park, is a popular vacation destination in any season; winter offers cross-country and alpine skiing; summer offers the thrill of white-water rafting, and hiking on a variety of scenic trails. Glacier National Park offers a variety of rental cabins, from basic, no-frills cabins to the rustic charm of historic accommodations.

Belton Chalet

The Belton Chalet has guarded the western gateway to Glacier National Park since 1910. This historic lodge, built in 1913, has been thoroughly refurbished, and is conveniently located to many outdoor activities in northwest Montana: fishing, boating, white-water rafting, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The Chalet offers lodge rooms and separate "cottages."

Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins

Built in 1907 the historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins is 3,400-square-feet of hospitality. In 2003, the lodge and cabins were totally renovated. This historic lodge sits in a quiet, scenic mountain valley near a blue-ribbon trout stream. Six spacious guest rooms offer the warm, western-style hospitality of Montana; lodge-pole pines and a massive stone fireplace add rustic charm to the structure.
