From long-term rentals to renting a car for the day, Enterprise has choices for you. Enterprise offers a pick-up service, so picking up your car rental is never a problem. Road side assistance comes with the car rental. Rentals range from economy cars to luxury and even SUV's; Hybrid cars are available at some locations. No smoking or pets are allowed in the vehicles, which must be returned just as they were found (including gas level.) Customers must have a major credit card and two recent utility bills, which must be up-to-date on payment.

Sikeston Motors car dealership has a rental program available. Rental forms are available on the website or contact in person. All rentals are Fords. Rentals include 150 miles a day at no charge, with a per-mile charge for overages. Cars include a full tank of gas; return it full or pay a high per-gallon charge. Drivers must be licensed and 21 years of age, with a small surcharge per day for drivers under 25. You must present proof of full coverage insurance (many car insurance companies can give you temporary full coverage--consult your insurance company) and have a major credit or debit card in driver's name with at least a $500 balance available (as of Feb. 2010), which will remain on hold for 10 to 15 business days. No policy is stated on smoking or pets, but renters are assessed a nominal cleaning fee for vehicles that require "excessive cleaning and/ or trash removal."

Enterprise (Poplar Bluff)
Traveling out of Dexter 20 miles to Poplar Bluff in the west, another Enterprise location is ready to provide a quality rental. With clean, affordable cars and regular specials, Enterprise offers many categories of cars, from economy to luxury. The standard Enterprise rules apply--major credit card to rent, copies of two current utility bills--but the pleasant difference is, the Poplar Bluff location will allow you to transport your pet, as long as there is no pet damage or hair for them to clean up after the rental. If there is, a cleaning fee will be assessed.
