Located in the north central part of the state and folded into Jackson County, Kadoka, South Dakota, is a small town surrounded by a rural area. Known as the "Gateway to the Badlands," this region is home to six national parks. There are more than 100 miles of scenic byways, waterfalls, roads and trails that comprise the nearby Black Hills, home to Mt. Rushmore. Residents and visitors traveling through the region enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, camping and nature watching. When you're ready to settle in for the night, various lodging accommodations are in the immediate vicinity.
