El Fogon Restaurant offers a full menu of traditional Peruvian dishes such as palta rellena de camarones, which is an appetizer that is half of an avocado filled with creamy shrimp and potato salad, and ceviche mixto, which is lemon-marinated fish and mixed seafood. One of the dinner specialties is tacu tacu con bistek, a mélange of rice and Peruvian beans fried to a soft crisp that is served with a side of Peruvian Creole salad. El Fogon Restaurant accepts both reservations and take-out orders.

Chachy's
Chachy's is an ideal place for the entire family to try different kinds of Peruvian dishes. Chachy's specializes in seafood, as well as Peruvian-style chicken barbecue. There is also the Peruvian breakfast, or desayuno criollo, consisting of tamales, fried pork, fried sweet potato, coffee and bread. Chachy's also offers special services and banquet facilities for up to 45 people. The restaurant accepts reservations for large groups and has a full bar. On Saturdays, you'll find live entertainment.

Boulevard Cafe
Boulevard Café is a casual Peruvian restaurant in a cozy, intimate atmosphere near the University of Toronto campus and the Annex that attracts business people, couples and professors. The restaurant is richly decorated with hand-knotted Peruvian wall hangings and tables with colorful ceramic tiles. The pungent, distinct flavors of Peru such as cumin and cilantro accentuate the authentic Peruvian dishes on the menu. Among Boulevard Cafe's specialties is the parihuelo, a spicy seafood stew with monkfish, clams, mussels, tomatoes, cilantro and wine. The Peruvian rack of lamb served with spicy zucchini and eggplant and a side of garlic mashed sweet potatoes is also quite popular among regulars. Tropical juices made from fruits common in Peru such as guava, passion fruit and mango are made fresh to order. There is an upstairs fireplace and a patio available for dining. The staff strongly recommends diners make reservations.
