Lafayette Blue Springs State Park
Lafayette Blue Springs State Park is located seven miles north of Mayo. Blue Spring is located within the park, where certified cave divers can explore over 12,000 feet of passageways into the spring's caverns. Primitive camping is available throughout the park and is on a first come-first served basis. The park has portable toilet facilities, five camping cabins and a primitive youth camping area. The park has a picnic area, and hikers can use the natural limestone bridge crossing Blue Spring to the Suwannee River or the nature trail. Swimmers will enjoy the constant 72-degree temperature of the spring. The park's boat ramp leads into the Suwannee, where anglers can fish for bass and bluegills. Canoeists and kayakers can explore the miles of river, with various beaches along its banks.

Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground
The privately owned Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground is located outside of Mayo on the Suwannee River, with Convict Spring located within its boundaries. The spring has a constant 72-degree temperature, and experienced cave divers can explore the quarter-mile-long narrow passageways of the spring's caverns. The park offers 10 primitive campsites with only a fire ring and picnic table in a heavily wooded setting. There are 35 sites with water and electric and nine campsites that are full-hookup with 30-amp service. The campground has a restaurant, general store, laundry facility, cabins, motel, bathrooms, showers and picnic area. Boaters and anglers can use the campground's boat launch into the Suwannee. The resort rents canoes and kayaks.

Ginnie Springs Campground & Dive Resort
Ginnie Springs Campground & Dive Resort is located west of High Springs, approximately 20 miles east of Mayo. The resort is home to seven springs, with Ginnie, Devil's Eye and Devil's Ear being the most popular for swimmers and cave divers. Diving into the caverns is open to certified cave divers only. The park has over 200 acres of wilderness where tent campers can pick an area to camp. Some areas have a picnic table, grill and water and are on a first come-first served basis. Campers can reserve one of the 113 campsites with electric and water. The resort has canoe and kayak rentals for those wanting to explore the Santa Fe River and has a boat launch for anglers. There is a picnic area, country store/dive center, playground, laundry facility and restaurant on-site.
