Glacier Park Lodge
Located on the east side of the park, across from the Amtrak station, stands the Glacier Park Hotel. As you enter the hall, you marvel at the massive 3-foot thick cedar walls and 500-year-old fir beams that support the building. Built in 1913, the rooms, decorated with historic posters, exude a simplistic, rustic charm. The grounds also provide private cottages and a house next to a spectacular golf course--but watch out for moose on the fairways. Storytelling and musical talent delight guests in the lodge's great hall.
