In addition to daily events and programs, the Connecticut Science Center offers a state-of-the-art 3-D digital theater. Catering to young children as well as teens, the center claims to cover every area of science from forensics to astronomy, geology and physics.

Families looking for a day out might want to visit Bushnell Park for some enjoyable outdoor activities. Kids can have fun riding the antique, wooden carousel and taking advantage of the Bushnell Park tree walk. On this popular walk, kids can traipse through an arboretum of rare trees.
