According to its city website, Greenwood is a small town in west Arkansas with a population of 7,112. While there are no hotels within the city limits, there are many choices in the surrounding areas. Greenwood's natural surroundings lend themselves to scenic camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing and hunting. Two national forests and five major state parks are within an hour's drive of the city.
