Flowood, Mississippi, rests on the banks of the Pearl River and is less than 10 minutes from the Ross Barnett Reservoir, the largest inland body of water in Mississippi. This 30,000-acre lake provides facilities for fishing and boating and is surrounded by parks, such as the Natchez Trace Parkway, that provides paths for jogging and cycling. Hunting opportunities can be had at the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area, which is about 30 minutes northwest of the hotel.
