Keystone, South Dakota is your gateway to the Black Hills. The town is close to the Mt. Rushmore Monument as well as Custer State Park. There are many trails and historical sites in the area. Streams abound with fish and there is a lot of wildlife-from squirrels to elk to eagles-to observe. There are many campgrounds in the area whether you want full service RVs or just a tent site, to provide a good base for outdoor adventures.

Wolf Camp

For something different, consider the Wolf People Camp. In addition to camping, you may learn about wolves and even pet them if you like. Campers, as well as visitors, may enter and visit the wolves without charge. Spokane Creek flows through the property as well, and it's just a short walk to a gold mine.
The campground has two cabins, four tipis, 20 marked tent sites and a lot of space for RVs. There are no marked spaces for RVs, but electric and water connections can be made to them as long as you park in the designated area.
The tipis have no hookups. Cabins are one-bedroom structures with electricity and water. The cabins have a bed, chairs, stove and refrigerator.
