Canada is home to a large variety of fishing lodges including luxury level accommodations that provide quality fishing along with amenities such as world class cuisine and spa services. Many luxury lodges provide an eco-friendly environment with all the comforts of home in such serene locations as the Great Bear Rainforest of British Columbia.

Kississing Lodge

Kississing Lodge is located on Kississing Lake in Manitoba Canada and offers luxury accommodations in private log cabins. Cabins include all linens, satellite TV and morning coffee delivered daily as well as stocked beverage coolers in the afternoon.

The main lodge is an expansive log building that has a 28-foot stone fireplace great room, 36-guest dining room and large recreation room. The lodge features hand carved log furniture and a northern themed decor. There is also a full service massage room where guests can relax after a long day of fishing with a variety of massages.

Guests are provided all meals and receive daily appetizers and cocktails when they return from the day's fishing trip. Dinners consist of fresh seafood and steaks and include local wines.

Fishing includes fully guided trips on Kississing Lake for walleye and northern pike. Float plane trips are also available to one of eight outposts owned by the resort where guests fish for smallmouth bass, salmon and walleye. Guests provide their own gear and can purchase all necessary licenses from the front desk at the resort.

Nimmo Bay Lodge

Nimmo Bay Lodge is a fly-in fishing resort located on Nimmo Bay at the base of Mt. Stevens in western British Columbia. It offers private luxurious two-bedroom log cabins that include views of Nimmo Bay and rustic log furniture. The main lodge has a billiard room that includes leather couches, satellite TV and a digital sound system.

Guests can also enjoy a massage in the lodge or outside next to the resort's two hot tubs that are cascaded by a natural waterfall. Nimmo Bay provides all meals and beverages for guests which includes local wines, local seafood and homemade ice cream.

Heli fishing packages include guided helicopter trips to remote rivers to fly-fish for salmon and trout. Guests are flown to a number of locations to ensure maximum catch and wildlife viewing. The resort has a pro shop that has all necessary licenses and gear for purchase.

King Pacific Lodge

King Pacific Lodge is a fly-in fishing lodge located in north British Columbia. It offers 17 spacious suites that include a king bed with down duvet, window-front tub with views of the ocean or wilderness along with upgraded suites which accommodate up to eights guests and have separate sitting areas.

The lodge features a large game room with fly-tying table, great room with stone fireplace and fireside library as well as a spa that offers massages and body wraps. Dining at King Pacific Lodge features local seafood and ingredients found in the surrounding land along with modern influences from around the world as well as local wines.

King Pacific Lodge offers guest guided fishing trips to inland rivers for salmon and trout as well as ocean charters for salmon and halibut. All equipment is furnished along with food and drinks while aboard. Guest can purchase all necessary licenses directly from the lodge's front desk.
