The Great Oak Manor features deluxe accommodations and is approximately 30 minutes from Chestertown, Maryland, the nearest city. Rooms are decorated richly in various themes, and most have a view of the Bay. As villages on the Eastern Shore can be somewhat isolated, this hotel does not have a great number of commercial recreation in the immediate vicinity, but it is less than an hour to charter boats, horseback riding, hunting and antique shops and art galleries.
