Directly west of Nashville is the suburb of Brentwood. This suburb's numerous restaurants, shops, and hotels attract people to see the state capital of Tennessee. Radnor Lake State Park, the United State's largest state wilderness park found in a city, is another attraction nearby and another reason people flock to Brentwood.

In the lower price range is the Sleep Inn which has cheap rates, conveniently located close to Interstate 65 and local attractions like Vanderbilt University. This hotel offers free Wi-Fi Internet access, free national paper, free local calls and free coffee. In addition, free continental breakfast is served complete with Belgian waffles. There is also an outdoor seasonal pool and hot tub. Rooms here have basic contemporary décor but are spacious. All rooms come with an iron and ironing board and cable television. Some rooms come with a microwave and refrigerator. Coin-operated laundry services and dry cleaning are available. Two doubles or one king are $70 per night as of March 2010. Restaurants nearby include Outback Steakhouse, McDonald's and Schlotzsky's Deli.

Brentwood Suites

In the mid-price range is a newer four-story hotel called Brentwood Suites. This hotel has 57 spacious suites along with two presidential suites complete with Jacuzzi tub. Every suite comes with Wi-Fi, bottled water, sitting area with a sleeper sofa, micro fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. This hotel provides a free complimentary breakfast buffet each morning. There is also a conference room that can hold up to 100 people and a business center with copier and fax. The standard rate for one king bed with a sleeper sofa is $100 nightly or a King suite with whirlpool is $110 nightly as of March 2010 rates. This hotel did offer specials for booking a last minute deal, winter sale or a 48-hour sale. Check for specials. You may be able to upgrade here at a good rate. Nearby restaurants are Joey's House of Pizza, Sonic and Corky's Bar-b-que.

Hampton Inn

The Hampton Inn is only five miles from the Tennessee state fairgrounds and is minutes from several large shopping centers. This hotel promises a clean room and has 112 rooms. It provides handicap amenities available for those with a disability. Guest rooms here come with cable television with on-demand movies, hair dryers, wireless Internet, iron and ironing board, lap desk and in-room safes. Continental breakfast is served free. Additional amenities include laundry/valet service, newsstand, business center with fax and copy, fitness room and outdoor pool. Here two doubles or one king is priced at $129 nightly as of March 2010. Restaurants in the area include Mrs. Winner's Chicken and Biscuits, Waffle House and Wendy's.
