As Miami has one of the most popular beaches in the continental United States, there is no surprise that there are a large multitude of water activities to partake in such as renting a speedboat for private boating adventures, deep-sea diving and exploration of over 75 shipwrecks in the area, as well as snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, and jet skiing. In regards to dining, there are a few Puerto Rican restaurants in the lively city.

Benny's Seafood Restaurant

In June 2009, Benny's Seafood Restaurant was featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" on the Food Network. The focus of the interview was to showcase the restaurant's Mofongo that consists of fried plantain mashed with garlic, pork rinds, salt and olive oil and a variation of seafood, fried chicken or beef steak. Benny's was established in 1994 and serves traditional Puerto Rican fare that reflects family traditions and recipes. This is a casual, family-friendly establishment that is located in a strip mall, so there is an abundance of free parking. Benny's Seafood Restaurant is opened every day except Monday.
