Thai Restaurants in Georgetown, Texas

Thai food restaurants in smaller cities like Georgetown, Texas, can be difficult to find. Although there is really only one Thai restaurant within the city limits, a few other good ones are within a very short drive.

Dia Thai

Tucked away on a side street one block east of the square in downtown Georgetown, Dia Thai is the only true Thai restaurant in Georgetown. Most of the curries and other main entrees can be prepared vegetarian or with your choice of beef, pork, chicken or shrimp (for an additional price). Street-side patio seating is available when the weather is nice.

Thai Spoon

A short drive south from Georgetown, the Thai Spoon in Round Rock is worth the trip. Serving lunch and dinner, both at reasonable prices, the Thai Spoon offers fish, duck, curries and noodle entrees all cooked to order (vegetarian available on request). Be sure to ask your server to adjust your dish to mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. After your meal, don't forget to try the homemade coconut, mango or Thai tea ice cream.

Titaya's Thai

A little bit further south, on Lamar in North Austin is Titaya's Thai restaurant. Situated at the end of a strip mall, Titaya's has a surprisingly comfortable decor, but it's the food that packs people in, particularly at lunch. Portions are nicely sized, and prices seem within range, more so for lunch than dinner, though. If you like catfish, you have to try the Chuu Chee, a fried fillet served in a coconut red curry sauce, although be forewarned that it's a bit spicy.
