Considered the birthplace of the blues, Clarksdale is located in the Mississippi Delta in northwest Mississippi. The Sunflower River meanders through the city, offering visitors a place to walk and bike along its banks. While the river is rather muddy, you can put a canoe or kayak on the river. Golfers should check out the Clarksdale Country Club. When you're ready to rejuvenate, head back to a Clarksville hotel for a good night's sleep.
