Located in the Brush Creek Valley, Snowmass Village covers 25 square miles, while overlooking 40 miles of hiking and biking trails. Snowmass Village is located on the second largest ski mountain in Colorado, offering 150 miles of trails. Known for having the longest lift-served vertical rise slopes in the US, the village is also the first location in the nation to power this lift by wind power. When vacationing in this area, there are some excellent locations for your stay.

Silvertree Hotel

With a sauna, health club, spa, steam room and two outdoor heated swimming pools, relaxation is just a step away from anywhere in this hotel. This site offers standard guestrooms with 345 square feet and limited views, a deluxe room that overlooks the grounds and slope view rooms that have a small balcony. It also offers specialty rooms with a wet bar, whirlpool, large balcony and bathrobes. Winter is not the only time to head here, however, as Colorado has more sunny days each year than California. With the Aspen Recreation Center, Aspen Music Festival and an 18-hole disc golf course located on and around the mountain there is plenty of activities to keep the outdoor enthusiast busy.

Snowmass Mountain Chalet

Located across from the Snowmass Ski School and 15 minutes from Aspen, this hotel has excellent access to the shops and dining available to Smowmass Village and Aspen. This location offers a complimentary hot breakfast each moning in the Breakfast Room with views of the slopes, and during the winter you can ski right into the hotel for a hot soup lunch. The hotel has 64 rooms with a mini-fridge, DVD player, hairdryer, satellite TV, high-speed Internet and an iron and ironing board. Winter activities available include skiing and snowboarding. Family owned and operated, Snowmass Inn is the first ski resort in the Snowmass Village area. Popular year round for all of the outdoor activities available on and around the property, such as swimming, rafting and skiing.
