Located in Warren County, New York, Glens Falls is a town rich in history, natural beauty and art. Some of the major natural attractions in the area are the Feeder Canal, featuring a nine-mile walking and biking trail and the famous limestone Cooper's Cave. Glens Falls is also noted for it's summer Adirondack Theatre Festival presented in the Charles R. Wood Theater.

The Feeder Canal

The Feeder Canal was constructed in the early 1800s to direct water from the Hudson River to the Champlain Canal, and as a means of transportation for people and goods. Today the canal is outlined by a nine-mile walking and biking trail that runs from McIntyre Park in Fort Edward to the Feeder Dam in Queensbury. Five miles of the canal are suitable for canoeing, with waters no deeper than 4 feet. The entire canoe trip takes roughly 1.5 hours.
