Santa Barbara is a premier destination in California for outdoor enthusiasts. Spend days surfing, body boarding, boating or kayaking and take some time to hike local trails. There are not very many motels in the Santa Barbara area, but there are a number of hotels that offer affordable accommodations option for travelers.

This particular Motel 6 is located on the northern end of State Street and is close to a number of grocery stores and a variety of small shopping boutiques and restaurants. The motel also is very close to the Santa Barbara Bowl and a large amphitheater that draws local and national acts quite often. The amenities at Motel 6 are basic but that has to expected at the price that you will be paying. Count on cable television, wireless Internet access with a small fee attached and decent linens.
